07.20.09 - Bedford Acres Website Launches
|
|
Apax is proud to announce the launch of the new website for Bedford Acres Christian Church. Bedford Acres wanted a new website that helped promote its image in the community.
http://www.bedfordacres.com/
The Bedford Acres website includes two streamlined designs, one for the homepage and one for the interior pages. The homepage includes a flash image rotator that helps Bedford Acres promote specific events throughout the community.
Apax implemented WordPress as the Content Management System (CMS) that powers the website. Bedford Acres wanted a CMS tool that was well established, easy to use, and expandable. Wordpress allows non-technical users to login to the website and modify the content and navigation structure. Apax also created some custom WordPress modules that allow Bedford Acres to make changes to the homepage image rotator and interior page header images.

EducatorSites.Net
This web tool provides educators with an easy to update, professional-looking website that can be up and running in a matter of minutes. It's as easy to update pages as it is to create a MS Word document. The site just launched and we were proud to attend the KASBO conference in Louisville to officially showcase the product to the public. Check it out at http://educatorsites.net.
Meal of Fortune
This web application will provide users the ability to find new meals and recipes that are similar to meals that they specify. A Pandora®-like rating system combined with an expanding database of meals and micronutrients allows the application to get smarter every time someone uses it.
Pay it Forward
This social networking site will allow people to track the progress of their favors and acts of kindness from one person to another. After doing someone a favor, ask him/her to do someone else a favor in return. Track the progress of this chain of favors from person to person across state and country lines.
Pipeline Analyzer
This sales tool allows companies to track the likely hood and potential revenue of projects in the pipeline. Results are displayed to the user in an easy to read chart and can be manipulated from within the chart view or by editing the details of each project.
